Accepted Into The Maine Photography Show!

Take a Trip to Boothbay Harbor in April or May!

So I've spent the past two hours writing up part two of Norway: The Land Of Majestic Fjords, Beautiful People, And Beers That Cost More Than My Fish & Chips. I know that you've all been desperately awaiting the continuation of my Norway trip, but you're going to have to wait a taaaaad bit longer. Two hours of writing and dozens of paragraphs have led me through the first three hours of Day 2.... so ya, that's going to take a while. In fact, I might as well get it published as a book, considering that the time between my blog posts tends to follow the traditional publication timeframe of an adult book series.

Anyways, here's some exciting news that I neglected to share. I got accepted into the Maine Photography Show!! Only 123 of 1033 photos were selected for display at Boothbay Region Art Foundation Gallery in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. My image below, titled "Lakehouse" was accepted into the Remnants category. Funny story about the title... I named it a while ago after a song by my favorite band, Of Monsters and Men, but I've since realized that the house is actually on a fjord. Oh well.

I took the photo from the shores of a fjord in southwestern Norway last June. The image can be purchased in a number of different sizes directly from my Order Prints page. I have also uploaded a second version with the house centered in the middle - for those who prefer that version.

The picture will be on display in large format at
The BRAF Gallery in Boothbay Harbor
from Saturday April 7th through Friday May 4th.

Their address is 1 Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor, Maine 04538.

Cheers,

Brian
